Education is a tool which, if effectively leveraged, can free the nation from poverty, unemployment and superstition. Nothing could be more pertinent than this statement and India is hopefully on the brink of realising this change. In the recent past, the country has seen tremendous economic progress with agriculture and allied activities, industry and services industries growing at CAGR of 2.80, 4.92 and 6.94 at 2004-05 prices (http://www.data.gov.in/) in the past five years. Incomes have increased and India has created an ever-growing middle class.
