Children from the disadvantaged section of the society could find a place in the private school in the neighbourhood without spending a paise under the provisions of RTE from this year. A special cell for ensuring Right to Education in the district was launched here by District Collector Sachin Jadhav on Wednesday. He was attending the workshop for the principals of private schools in the district on RTE being organised by SSA here.

While highlighting the responsibility of each individual for ensuring rights of children as described in UNCRC to reach the children, he said the schools should facilitate the special provisions made in the RTE for the benefit of disadvantaged group of children in the society so as to offer equal opportunity for all the children in the process of development.http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-otherstates/article2948699.ece
