In this interview Vinod Raina, one of the key brains behind RTE, talks about the outcomes he expects from RTE, role of private schools in achieving those outcomes, and possible impact of RTE on private schools. He then talks about recognition norms for government schools and the impact of RTE towards ensuring quality education. The discussion ends with his thoughts on the progress that has been made in implementing RTE.
